Harvest Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
Harvest Academy has been running near or at capacity for the last year. We have proven our model to be successful and look to help more people transform from a life of drugs, criminality, and homelessness to one of purpose, integrity, and employment. Harvest Academy is 100% operationally self-sufficient, paying 100% of program costs through the operation of its vocational school, Harvest Academy Movers. This means donations are never to support operations, but to help us expedite our ability to change lives in our community.
We need your help in building our new mixed-use community on 18 acres of land south of the Des Moines airport. This will allow Harvest Academy to enroll 80+ students, both men and women. We will also be able to open more social enterprises to give our students more opportunity as well as giving the community more high quality businesses.
We welcome you to our Harvest Academy community anytime to see how this transformation takes place. Become part of the solution by helping us change the way justice is brought through community.
Any donations of clothing, food, hygiene products, supplies, tools, gear, etc. help Harvest Academy reduce its operating costs and help allow us to maintain our self-funded and self-sufficient organization. If you or your company have access to these items and are wanting to donate, please contact us. You can drop off or we can pick up any donations. In-kind donations are also tax deductible.
Harvest Academy is a student-operated moving company; it allows our students to gain the vocational skills necessary to become financially independent.
